When an "Official Swiss Army Knife" manufacturer and a company famous for its horologist tools decide to do something together, the result should at least be interesting.
In fact, it is more than this: It is one of the handiest and most cleverly designed tools that I have seen in a long time.
Wenger, known for their Swiss Army Knives, also offer a complete program of special purpose knives. You find a blade and a corkscrew on all of them, but the rest of the instruments and tools are specifically designed for some special application. They have knives for biking, skiing, snowboarding and - for watchmaking!
It was a wise decision of Wenger to leave the special instruments design to Bergeon, a company probably known to most collectors. The knife (or better "toolbox") cost SFr. (Swiss Franken) 110.- when I bought it in 1997. Ask your local Swiss Army Knife representative for this interesting device!
